Though I would post another style of card I have enjoyed making lately - the circular 'Plate' style.
Here is one I made for a wedding.
I have used plain white card for the main circles which I have cut out using Spellbinders Grand Decorative Circles one. For the coloured detailing I have used a pearlised card in a creamy/apricot colour.
The heat was Memory Box - Bingham hear - I just love this die it is so delicate. I have also used Spellbinders Daisy flowers, Cheery Lynn & Crafts-Too flourishes, Memory Box - Pippi Butterfly outline. Punches were papermania mini flower punch, and Nellie Snellen tiny butterfly
I have crafted my own stand and embossed with a floral embossing folder.
Pearls, gems and pearl hearts add the finishing touches.

Wedding - Box card
I am loving making these little boxes & thought I would experiment with different types. Here is one I made suitable for a wedding. I will add the sentiment to the front panel later.
I have used centural pearl card in off white for the main box as it is lovely and sturdy & just covered the 3 flaps with Papermania Oyster Blush paper, which has a lovely sheen to match the card.
All the die cuts are in the pearl card apart from the lacy detailing on the daisy's which is vellum to give a delicate finish.
Dies used are: Marianne hearts
Tattered Lace - Daisy
Cheery Lynn - Leafy flourish
Marianne - leaves
Magazine Freeby - Butterfly
the tiny flowers on the hearts are a papermania mini punch.

A Teenager at Last
This Commission was something a little different for me, all I was told was that the young lady concerned was beginning to enjoy fashion and particularly liked dresses. This is what I came up with. I hope you like it.
I didn't want to make the mistake of producing a card that was too grown up so I kept the colours pastel and I think it looks young and fun. I searched for dress templates but didn't find any suitable so I created this one myself from a large scalloped circle die, by cutting out sections then mountain & valley folding the skirt section.
The backing papers I have used are the papermania - spots & stripes capsule collection & for the dress, papermania happy days, some tiny rose buds & organza ribbon to complete. Letters & numbers are memory box and sentiment is LOTV.

Plate style Christening Card
I have made this Christening 'Plate' for the Christening of a baby boy. Wanted to make something a bit different.
I have used 2 sets of grand circle cutting dies - the fancy one is Spellbinders Grand Decorative Circles one, the other is a plain set. I have added just a touch of blue & kept most of the card white, but used embossing and decorative cuts to give texture and interest to the card. I have used the LOTV Art pad for the topper, these little pads are great when you need a topper quickly . The flourish is one by Wild Rose Studio, leafy frond is Cheery Lynn, Marianne & Spellbinders flower dies, pearls and gems to complete. I created the stand myself as the one I had was not large enough to take the weight, embossed to match the rest of the card.
