1 Today - Boy & Girl

I used some magazine freeby papers LOTV's nitwit, and an LOTV Art pad topper. I've die cut the topper & raised it on sticky pads leaving a gap for a hidden message.

This is one that was commissioned which I have personalised, same layout & papers but with the name included and a few stars sprinkled.  I love using these ready coloured toppers, they certainly speed up my makes & are just too cute!!

A Teenager at Last

This Commission was something a little different for me, all I was told was that the young lady concerned was beginning to enjoy fashion and particularly liked dresses.  This is what I came up with. I hope you like it.

I didn't want to make the mistake of producing a card that was too grown up so I kept the colours pastel and I think it looks young and fun.  I searched for dress templates but didn't find any suitable so I created this one myself from a large scalloped circle die, by cutting out sections then mountain & valley folding the skirt section.

The backing  papers I have used are the papermania - spots & stripes capsule collection & for the dress, papermania  happy days, some tiny rose buds & organza ribbon to complete.  Letters & numbers are memory box and sentiment is LOTV.

Plate style Christening Card

I have made this Christening 'Plate' for the Christening of a baby boy.  Wanted to make something a bit different.

I have used 2 sets of grand circle cutting dies - the fancy one is Spellbinders Grand Decorative Circles one, the other is a plain set.  I have added just a touch of blue & kept most of the card white, but used embossing and decorative cuts to give texture and interest to the card.  I have used the LOTV Art pad for the topper, these little pads are great when you need a topper quickly .  The flourish is one by Wild Rose Studio, leafy frond is Cheery Lynn, Marianne & Spellbinders flower dies, pearls and gems to complete.  I created the stand myself as the one I had was not large enough to take the weight, embossed to match the rest of the card.
