MASCOTS FOR POPPY APPEAL 2017

How cute are these!!



My lovely knits are all ready and will be available soon in the Poppy Shop in Corby Town Centre.  Hope we make loads of money for the  Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal this year.

  1. I am currently looking for patterns for dolls just like these for knitters to make that Armed Forces Bikers can sell to raise much needed funds for veterans. All money raised goes to veterans in need as all staff for AFB are volunteers

  3. Love the raf doll. I would love to be able to make some to sell to raise funds for RAF Chapel at Biggin Hill Kent. It is a Battle of Britain memorial Chapel and we are open to the public.can you help? Thanks.

    2. Hi The pattern I used is by Jean Greenhowe, Mascot Dolls. It is still available on ebay etc. I adapted the policeman pattern,changing the colours to create the Army and RAF dolls. Hope this helps.

  6. Hi Linda. I know you have altered the original patterns to make these 3 fantastic dolls, I wonder if you would be able to send me details. I work with service children in school and we are looking at knitting some dolls for the children and parent to keep to promote togetherness when the parent deploys or works away.
