Special Sister

This is a special easel style card I made for my mum to give to her sister.

I have used my favourite FF Black and Gold papers, and matted on to gold mirri card.  The image was a FF one which I have coloured with promarkers and inked the edges.  I have die cut  the image & matted on to an embossed die cut.  I have punched & shaped flowers to match those on the papers, added some gold leaves & flourishes for extra effect.  Finished it off with some organza ribbon with a large floral brad.

Contemporary Christmas.

Another card for this year's challenge, this time contemporary colours.

Snoflake challenge week 3

I have used pale blue & white card & run them through different embossing folders to give a textured background.  Die cut countryside background and snowflake corner  (Memory Box), and die cut tree - Marianne.  I have used a free stamp for the snowman image which I have coloured with flexmarkers & promarkers.  I have die cut the image and matted on to a die cut lacy oval (spellbinders).  Finished off with some sparkly ribon, gems and stickles.

First Christmas card of 2013

I am joining in with the Snoflake Challenge this year again over on Docrafts.  I will be making a Christmas card each week to help avoid rushing at the last minute.  That is the plan!!

Here is my first one - lovely Tartan backing papers from Papermania, & the gorgeous Marianne large oval die & Marianne Poinsettia.
